HostZera – Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and restrictions governing your use of HostZera’s Services. It forms an integral part of the HostZera Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. HostZera may update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
HostZera’s Services must only be used for lawful, legitimate, and ethical purposes. Any activity that violates applicable laws, threatens service stability, harms other users, or exposes HostZera to legal liability is strictly prohibited. HostZera reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services, with or without notice, for any violation of this policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that your representatives, clients, and end-users (“Users”) fully comply with this AUP.
1. Prohibited Uses
a. Intellectual Property Violations
Using HostZera’s Services to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others is strictly prohibited. This includes:
Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials (movies, music, software, books, media, etc.)
Hosting or selling counterfeit products
Sharing pirated software, warez, or illegal downloads
Any account engaging in such activities may be suspended or terminated immediately.

2. Backup & Storage Abuse
Shared hosting accounts may not be used as backup or storage repositories.
Only one cPanel backup of the same account is allowed.
Backups of backups or storing unrelated files is prohibited.
3. Zero-Tolerance Adult Content Policy
HostZera does not permit any form of adult material, including:
Nudity or partial nudity
Explicit content
Pornographic images or videos
Any violation results in immediate termination without refund.
4. Additional Prohibited Content
The following content and activities are strictly forbidden on HostZera servers:
Topsites
Cannabis / CBD–related websites
IRC scripts, bots, or servers
Proxy/anonymizer tools
Image hosting scripts (e.g., Photobucket-style platforms)
AutoSurf, PTC, PTS, PPC systems
IP scanners, brute-force applications, mail bombers
File dump/mirror sites
High-risk financial programs (HYIP, Ponzi, MLM, Forex scams)
Sale of controlled substances without permits
Illegal streaming (sports broadcasts, UFC, FIFA, WWE, etc.)
Anonymous or bulk SMS gateways
Bitcoin/crypto mining scripts
Payday loan websites or affiliate programs
Hacking, phishing, spamming, malware distribution
Any website promoting illegal, harmful, or abusive activities will be removed immediately.
5. Child Exploitation
HostZera has zero tolerance for child pornography or any content involving minors.
Any account hosting or linking to such content will be terminated immediately and reported to authorities.
6. Free Hosting Prohibition for Resellers
Resellers may not offer “free hosting” services under any circumstances.
7. Unacceptable Resource Usage
You may NOT:
Use more than 25% of server resources for longer than 90 seconds
Run unattended or background server-side processes
Use web crawlers, spiders, or indexers on shared servers
Run BitTorrent apps or file-sharing tools
Run gaming servers (Counter-Strike, GTA, etc.)
Run cron jobs more frequently than every 15 minutes
Execute MySQL queries longer than 15 seconds
Host or store torrent files
Use shared hosting for streaming audio/video at scale
INODES
Shared/reseller accounts exceeding 250,000 inodes may receive warnings.
Accounts exceeding 100,000 inodes are excluded from backups.
Excessive inode use may lead to suspension.
8. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy
HostZera strictly prohibits:
Sending unsolicited emails (spam)
Bulk mailing or purchased email lists
Hosting websites advertised via spam
If your activity causes our IPs to be blacklisted, your account may be terminated and cleanup fees may apply.
9. WHMCS Support Policy
HostZera provides:
Initial WHMCS installation
WHMCS upgrades for $75
Support for WHMCS functionality must be requested directly from WHMCS.
10. Defamation Policy
HostZera does not remove allegedly defamatory content unless required by a valid court order under U.S. law.
11. HostZera’s Rights
HostZera may:
Investigate suspected AUP violations
Cooperate with law enforcement
Block access to harmful material
Take corrective action, including suspension or termination
Nothing in this policy limits HostZera’s legal rights.
12. Disclaimer
HostZera is not obligated to monitor user activity but may do so when needed. HostZera is not responsible for user-generated content stored or transmitted through our network.

Your account may be suspended or terminated—with or without prior notice—for violating this policy.
Failure to reply to HostZera’s Abuse Department within 48 hours may result in service suspension or termination.
